Tri-Boro Animal Welfare is a private, non-profit, all-volunteer, animal welfare/adoption organization. We operate two small shelters, one in Butler and one in Kinnelon. We pride ourselves on the personal care we give each animal. Tri-Boro Animal Welfare offers both dogs and cats for adoption. Potential adopters are welcome 1-3 p.m. on Sundays, or by appointment (call 973-831-5555). Our adoption program seeks to match the adopter and the animal so that the relationship will be mutually beneficial and endure for the lifetime of the dog or cat. For directions, please visit our 'Contact' page .
Please join us June 14th at the Strawberry Festival and Art Sale (local artists will be displaying their art work) from 12-3 at L’Ecole Museum.
TBAW Friends and Volunteers - if you're like me, you are using your computer more and more for everyday things. Searching the internet has become the way to look up a phone number, find a movie time and of course, SHOP! Now when you search on-line, you can support TBAW by using GoodSearch.com. Here's how to use it:
Go to www.goodsearch.com when you want to do an internet search (instead of using google or yahoo). Take 2 extra seconds to type in Tri Boro Animal Welfare in the box for your charity. Every search you do will earn us $.01. This may not seem like a lot but if all of us use it, it adds up - large charities are earning thousands! Even a small amount into our bank account is well worth the effort
You can also shop through www.goodshop.com and a percentage of your purchase could go to TBAW. So consider going through this site to do your shopping and help your fur friends at the same time!

DIVA needs a Home!!!
Diva has been at our shelter since January 2006! This beautiful girl deserves a permanent place to call home with a warm sunny window to watch the world go by. She will be 3 years old in July 2008. She is a sweet girl who is trying so very hard to be a lap cat. She will meow at you and study your face inviting you to sit so she can rub against you, then she rolls over to show you how happy she is. She may climb in your lap for a few seconds, then hop away, she is still practicing with laps! If you have a quiet home and a bit of patience to help Diva along you will be rewarded with a faithful companion. Diva does get along very well with other cats and is often found curled up with another cat or two at the shelter. Meet her at our Kinnelon shelter on Sunday or contact us for a convenient appointment.
Trixi
Trixie is a spirited dog about a year old. She is extremely friendly and loves to play, run, fetch and go for walks. Trixie would love to go home with an active family that will involve her in their activities. One look at this pretty little gal in action around the yard will cause you to fall in love! Call our general number, send an email or better yet, stop by our facility in Kinnelon on Sundays between 1 and 3 pm to see our adorable Trixie.
